Add 1/3 to 1/2 cup of sugar to the pitcher. Add just enough hot water out of your tap to liquefy the sugar. You are making a simple syrup, stir it up really well and it may take 5 to 10 minutes for the sugar to dissolve nicely in the hot water. After the sugar dissolves, add ice to the water line in the picture and leave the simple syrup sugar in the bottom of the picture underneath the ice. Put five teabags in the brewing basket and turn it on. It’s really that simple, once the tea brews, just stir the tea with a long spoon and pop in the refrigerator. You will have sweet tea all day long! I highly recommend this ice tea maker!

Great tea
I love this little tea maker. The tea taste is great, HOWEVER only problem is I accidentally dropped plastic pitcher on floor it now has a small crack. Now whenever I make tea it leaks out of the bottom. I can purchase a new tea maker for a few dollars more than buying just a pitcher. ALSO if you drink a lot of tea, get the bigger size. Overall a great tea maker, my brother in law got me to try this, he has been using one for years.

Makes Perfect Iced Tea!
I had one of these years ago and not sure why I stopped using it. It makes the best iced tea and so fast! You just have to be sure to have a lot of ice on hand. I make 2 pitchers every few days. One regular and one decaf. Now I can enjoy iced tea at night too. You have to play around with the number of tea bags to make it to your liking. I use 8 regular size bags or 4 of the large ones.

I HIGHLY recommend this to all "iced" tea drinkers
This is my third one in about 25 years. I replace only because a top or pitcher gets broken from "abuse." Electronics seem to last forever. Well built. We make brewed tea every day. We don't make it as instructed. We fill the basket up, brew, dump more water in and brew again. That way we have POTENT double strength tea, throw in the fridge, and dilute down to normal strength when drinking. I HIGHLY recommend this to all "iced" tea drinkers. It's cheap and works well. I'm using these for life.

BUT IT, YOU WON'T BE SORRY!
We bought our Mister Coffee ‘Ice Tea maker in 1992, or 1993. It had two jugs that came with it. No complaints here. It was used year round, two or three times a week, even more in the summer. After using it all those years, it finally brewed its last pot of tea in March of this year. We ordered another one almost immediately. It arrived in two days, and has worked flawlessly since. It looks exactly the same as the old one. I use four family sized torn open and emptied tea bags and coffee brew paper basket. It keeps the boss, AKA as the BOSS! I have no problem recommending this Mister Coffee ice tea maker! You will not be sorry owning one if you love your ice tea! It’s GRRRRRRRReat!

Keep it simple
Do not spend a bunch of money on one of those fancy tea makers. This unit is perfect for really good, fast ice tea. It comes with easy to follow instructions and guide for how much tea or coffee to use. The last tea maker I bought had a glass pitcher that broke the first time I used it. This one is plastic which is so much better. Keep in mind the instructions do suggest that even if you use tea bags, you will need a 8-12 quart size paper filter to go in the basket to slow the water down and make sure the tea steeps evenly. I highly recommend this low priced, easy to use tea maker for anyone looking to make restaurant quality tea at home.

Love!
We previously had one of these that we received as a wedding present. Eventually both the pitchers that came with it broke and we couldn't replace them since the machine and pitchers had been redesigned. But, we finally bought a new one since I found it here for such a great price. I was also able to order an extra pitcher at a good price as well. We honestly wonder why we waited so long to get a new one since we loved our first one so much. It's so easy to use!

Perfect pitcher of tea
I was born and raised and still live in the South where sweet tea is considered a food group! I use this tea maker every day. It makes an excellent pitcher of tea in just a few steps. I use 3 Luzianne tea bags and a cup of sugar. Once the tea has brewed (10 minutes or so) I let it sit and steep for about half an hour. Makes a perfect pitcher of tea every time! I also like the fact that I can control the sugar going in. This thing is durable and worth every penny.

So easy to use, makes great tea in minutes
I know you can just boil water and throw in tea bags, transfer to a pitcher and get same result, but this makes it so easy and quick to do. Tea brews into a pitcher of ice and is ready to drink fairly immediately after brewing. I like to mix teas, such as adding a couple of bags worth of berry tea to black tea, especially in summer. I use a coffee filter and cut open several tea bags into it

Iced Tea Immediately!
I drink around a quart a day of iced green tea, year 'round. Every two days I brew a big pot of tea and refrigerate it. I finally decided to buy an iced tea maker and am so happy I did! I already love this and how easy it is to make two quarts of tea. If you follow the directions and always use a filter, the brewing time as it drips does a fine job of making tea to your liking and as strong as you like it, depending on how many bags you use. Plus the container still fits into my refrigerator where before I put the two separate quart containers. I, now, don't have to remember to brew the tea early enough in the day to get it cold without ice, by afternoon when I want to drink it. I cannot recommend this highly enough!
